A NEW ARBITRATION CODE FOR THE ARBITRATION AND CONCILIATION CHAMBER OF THE CNOSC
The Arbitration and Conciliation Chamber of the CNOSC opened its first ever General Assembly of the year 2020 this 9th July at the Conference Hall of the Cameroon National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSC). The main objective of this meeting chaired by the president of the Chamber Joseph Marie BIPOUM WOUM was the elaboration of a new Arbitration Code for the Chamber, a code which has known no modification since 2016.
This new Arbitration Code thus comes as a wind of change for the chamber and will enable it to be ready for the upcoming National and International competitions as most of them have been propounded to next year due to the coronavirus Pandemic.
This General Assembly which was held for two days equally served as a framework for an internal training seminar for the members of the Chamber who during the closing day expressed the wish to extend this training to the ten regions of the country, this in the bid to provide legal instruments to the Regional Olympic Committees when confronted to legal issues.
It is worth mentioning that, during this general Assembly some members of the chamber were handed flowers for their promotion to responsibility positions in their various domains.
